2015 Mittelburgenland trocken Hexenberg, Burgenland, Austria

Fairly deep nose, light dried vegetal notes, hint of tobacco, black berries, earthy notes, light oak. Firm, fairly cool, dark fruit on the palate, quite full-bodied, touch of toasted oak and some chocolate, peppery spice, touch of dried herbs, some depth, quite polished in spite of the full body, salty mineral traces, light sooty notes, hint of citrus zests, becomes more juicy and vibrant with aeration, some bite, very good firm, tart, juicy, toasted finish.
