Tart nose, light dried herbs, black berries, hint of bacon and juniper, earthy notes. Fairly firm, dark fruit on the palate, some spicy oak with a touch of coffee and cocoa, very slightly astringent, fine sandy tannins, earthy notes, tart nutty notes, fairly persistent and fairly full-bodied, good to very good finish.
