The winery is located in the municipality Durnstein Oberloiben in the Lower Austrian winegrowing area Wachau, It was founded in 2006 by Elisabeth Pichler-Krutzler and Erich Krutzler. Erich Krutzler comes from German shooters in southern Burgenland, where as a start a Blaufränkisch from the vineyard vineyard was produced. From the year 2008 the production started in the Wachau. The vineyards cover six hectares of vineyards in the vineyards Supperin and Kellerberg in the Subriede Wunderburg (Dürnstein), as well as Klostersatz and Loibenberg (Loiben).
