2005 Thermenregion Chardonnay halbtrocken Bründlbach "Selektion", Lower Austria/Niederösterreich, Austria

Yellow fruit on the nose, some wilted flowers, honey and brioche, delicate vegetal notes. Very ripe on the palate with an elegant touch of botrytis, well balanced with gentle fruit, alcohol, extract and moderate, ripe acidity, the moderate sweetness and ripeness make for a creamy mouthfeel, has backbone and depth, full-bodied but not overpowering, overall a big wine with good complexity, well.integrated oak and a long finish. Approachable now, but has the makings of long maturation potential.
