2005 Thermenregion Zierfandler halbtrocken Sinfonie, Lower Austria/Niederösterreich, Austria

Yellow fruit on the nose, light earthy notes and some almonds, nutty with some old oak. Fairly cool style, slightly bitter oak with some nutty notes, harmoniously integrated, straightforward cool fruit on the palate with partly preserved must pears and some pomaceous fruit, also some apple, herbaceous and mineral notes, well integrated and very delicate sweet touch, fairly prominent, mature acidity, full-bodied and has some backbone, still needs time to develop, slightly rough and bitter on a long finish. Should definitely be cellared for some time.
