2015 Thermenregion Neuburger trocken "Renaissance", Lower Austria/Niederösterreich, Austria

Nutty oak on the nose, vegetal notes and some yellow spice, brown butter and pomaceous fruit, earthy notes. Tart, restrained, creamy fruit on the palate, hint of bacon and buttery traces, earthy notes, prominent oak, moderate acidity, slightly astringent wood tannins, full body, noticeable high alcohol, vegetal and light mineral aromas, hint of tobacco, tart mineral notes on a good to very good finish.
