Tart fragrance of black berries with sooty and cedar notes, paprika, a little pepper, mint and earthy and a little dried-herbal aromas. Predominantly dark fruit with tart, again a little sooty oak, vegetal to herbaceous notes, some peppers and citrus aromas on the palate, present, fine sandy tannins, a hint of mint, noticeable acid bite, fairly persistent, good to very good finish with lots of bite, smoky notes and still slightly drying tannin.
