The Prager-Bodenstein winery is located in Weißenkirchen in the Lower Austrian wine-growing region Wachau, The Weinbau family has been in the business for many generations. The estate belonging to the Michaelbeuern monastery was first mentioned in 1302 as "Haus am Chling". In a letter of inheritance from 1715 kept in the family archive, three vineyards in the vineyards Hinter der Burg, Leber and Ritzling mentioned, which are still family-owned today.
