2000 Wachau Ried Hollerin Riesling Smaragd® trocken, Lower Austria/Niederösterreich, Austria

Mature, deep, somewhat tobacco and caramel aroma of partly dried pome and stone fruit with citrus aromas, dried planty to herbaceous and wilt-floral tones, a little candy, lots of earthy minerality as well as tangy-spicy hints. Mature, dry, yet juicy fruit in the mouth, dried-vegetable to herbal and also tobacco aromas, very fine, lively acidity, melting and grip on the palate, lasting, concentrated, lots of tart, somewhat earthy minerality and again spicy nuances, best balance, good depth, very good to long finish.
