2017 Süd-Steiermark Ried Grassnitzberg Gelber Traminer halbtrocken, Styria/Steiermark, Austria

Citrus and stone fruit as well as some exotic fruit on the nose, white fruit, floral notes, hint of white pepper, prominent herbaceous and mineral notes. Fairly firm, ripe, partly candied and dried fruit on the palate, delicately sweet, but also shows bitter notes typical of the variety, ehereal notes, elegant acidity, firm grip, good substance and persistence, some depth, still undeveloped, herbs and spices, still has some yeasty notes, prominent mineral notes, very good, gripping finish. Still needs some time to mature.
