2016 Wallhausen Felseneck Riesling Grosses Gewächs trocken, Nahe, Germany

Very slightly muted nose, prominent vegetal and light earthy notes, yellow fruit, floral aromas, peppery traces, mineral notes. Ripe, juicy, slightly sweetish fruit on the palate, some yellow spice, delicate peppery spice, floral and mineral notes, elegant, lively acidity, ripe tannins provide some grip, good persistence and substance, some depth, hint of sugar candy, light acid bite, more mineral notes and a touch of yellow spice on a very good, slightly sweetish finish.
