2015 Zweigelt Reserve trocken Burggarten, Lower Austria/Niederösterreich, Austria

Fairly firm nose, light smoky and toasted notes, prominent spicy oak, some bacon, partly preserved black berries and cherries, some licorice, touch of dried herbs and pepper. Ripe, preserved dark fruit on the palate, spicy notes, prominent dark chocolate, integrated fine, sandy tannins, touch of pomegrnate, good substance, very creamy, earthy and dried vegetal traces in the background, still very youthful, some depth, quite complex, very good juicy finish with spicy oak.
