2016 Weinviertel DAC Grüner Veltliner Reserve trocken Hommage, Lower Austria/Niederösterreich, Austria

Firm, deep nose, still slightly reductive,partly dried vegetal notes, some tobacco, prominent mineral notes, restrained yellow fruit, green asparagus. Concentrated, partly dried yellow fruit on the palate, prominent vegetal aromas, light yeasty notes, hint of tobacco, delicate nutty, toasted oak, yellow spice, smoky traces, persistent and firm, excellent depth, full-bodied, sweetish and creamy, ripe tannins provide grip, salty notes in the background, hint of honey, still quite young, powerful, but also complex, more smoky traces, some sugar candy and sweetish notes on a very good long finish.
