The estate is located in the community Fellbach (area Renstal-Stuttgart) in the German wine-growing region Wuerttemberg, The family has a 500-year winemaking tradition. Rainer Schnaitmann produced under his own label in 1997 as the first vintage. The vineyards cover nearly 12 hectares of vineyards in the individual layers Lämmler and Goldberg (Fellbach), Götzenberg (Uhlbach), as well as in the communities Endersbach, Schnait, Stetten, Strümpfelbach and Untertürkheim. They are the red varieties Trollinger, Pinot Noir, Black Riesling, Lemberger, Dornfelder, Samtrot, Frühburgunder, Muscat Trollinger, Cabernet Franc, Merlot and Syrah, and the white varieties Riesling, Sylvaner, Pinot Blanc, Pinot Gris, Gewürztraminer, Rivaner and Sauvignon Blanc planted. Quality criteria in the vineyard are, for example, close planting distances, low yields, foliage wall design and minimal use of pesticides and fertilization. After a selective harvest of optimally ripe grapes in several passes and gentle pressing, the fermentation of white wines is carried out in stainless steel and to a lesser extent in barrique. Riesling is increasingly trusted in its own yeast flora. After yeast storage times of 3 to 12 months, the wines are bottled. After the traditional mash fermentation with long life and malolactic fermentation, the red wines of the two-star and three-star class ripen for 8 to 10 months, the "Simonroth wines" for 12 to 18 months in barriques with a volume of mostly 300 liters. The filling takes place if possible without filtration. It also produces fine brandies (yeast, pomace, fruit) and flaschenvergorene sect. The winery is a member of VDP (Verband deutscher Prädikatsweingüter).
