2012 Spätburgunder trocken *** Junge Reben, Württemberg, Germany

Tart, somewhat old woody and tobacco aroma of red and black berries with cherry notes, toasty hints and a trace of dried herbs. Clear, firm and cool in the mouth, fine juicy, polished fruit, some woody perfume and again also herbaceous flavours, a breath cloves in the background, very fine tannin, quite good substance and persistence, a trace tobacco, good to very good finish.
