Light toasted oak on the nose, partly preserved red and a few black berries, some cherries, marzipan, dried herbs, hint of tobacco and peppery traces. Tart, fairly juicy and fresh fruit on the palate, spicy oak much better integrated than the nose had suggested, herbs and spices, youthful fine, sandy tannins, firm bite, still undeveloped, noticeable salty notes, hint of pomegranate and citrus zests, some depth, firm structure, tart nutty and herbaceous notes on a very good juicy finish with more spicy oak.
