The estate is located in the municipality of Bad Münster am Stein-Ebernburg in the German wine-growing region Near
, Erich-Wilhelm and Ursel Rapp developed it from a former agricultural mixed enterprise by buying and leasing good vineyard sites to a quality-oriented winery. Today Walter Rapp is responsible for the winery and the expansion of the wines. A guest house is connected. The vineyards cover eight hectares of vineyards in the locations Köhler-Köpfchen, Luisengarten, Schlossberg and Stephansberg (Ebernburg), as well Rotenberg
(Altenbamberg). They are planted with the white varieties Riesling (50% of the total area), Müller-Thurgau, Pinot Gris, Scheurebe, Silvaner, Pinot Blanc and Kerner, as well as the red varieties Pinot Noir and Dornfelder. In Weingarten, great importance is attached to promoting soil fertility, for example by maintaining short-term and permanent greenery. The wines are aged in a temperature-controlled manner in traditional oak barrels and modern stainless steel tanks. Bottle-fermented sparkling wines are also produced.
