1999 Kasel Nies'chen Riesling Spätlese trocken Jubiläumswein, Mosel, Germany

Mineral notes, delicate herbs and spices, blackcurrant aroma with notes of peaches and citrus fruit. Clean, light-bodied fruit with perfectly integrated acidity, more blackcurrant notes and herbs on the palate, mineral notes, slightly short finish.

Editor note: Firm and still somewhat shy nose, aromas of lemons, pineapple and some peach. Concentrated, juicy fruit, elegant acidity, elegant mineral backbone, clearly defined, quite persistent on the palate, excellent balance, elegant fruit and mineral notes on the finish.
