2001 Winningen Röttgen Riesling Eiswein, Mosel, Germany

Intense, concentrated aroma of caramel, candied yellow fruits and delicate herbs. Full-bodied, juicy fruit with tremendous sweetness, paired with an elegant and at the same time decidedly racy acidity, dense and very concentrated, great depth and persistence on the palate, alluring fruit, gripping, with a very firm, minerally backbone, still extremely youthful, bursting at the seams with power and substance, great length. Needs time to mature.
