2002 Winningen Röttgen Riesling Trockenbeerenauslese, Mosel, Germany

Very intense, clean aroma of candied and dried yellow fruit, caramel, mineral notes and a hint of wilted petals. Elegantly creamy, very concentrated fruit, crisp, lively acidity, dried fruit, candied fruit and honey on the palate, firm mineral backbone, tremendous structure and depth, racy, vibrating, still very young, tremendously pure and at the same time extremely complex, impressive, great length.
