2007 Winningen Röttgen Riesling Spätlese trocken, Mosel, Germany

Spicy-mineral, delicately yeasty and slightly cheesy, youthful nose with notes of stone fruit and leaves of blackcurrant. Complex on the palate, still quite closed, austere, earthy, mineral notes of spicy notes, more moderate, gentle stone fruit with hints of ripe apples, integrated acidity, tranquil, has substance and strength, becomes more sustainable with air, good finish.
