1999 Ruländer Spätlese trocken ***, Baden, Germany

Very attractive, elegant fruity nose, apples, melons and citrus fruit with delicate mineral notes. Full-bodied fruit, juicy, intense, minerals and spice on the palate, very rich style, persistent and well structured, very good balance, smoky and spicy notes on the finish. Needs some time.
