1999 Spätburgunder Kabinett trocken W, Baden, Germany

Very pale orange-pink colour. Mineral nose, still slightly yeasty, with a hint of red berries. Yeasty, delicately juicy fruit, minerals and spices, lively, very well integrated acidity, powerful body, excellent structure, persistent, very good balance, youthful yeasty finish. Give it time to mature, will eventually provide a sophisticated partner for a wide variety of foods.
