2014 Spätburgunder trocken Parzelle Schönenberg, Baden, Germany

Hint of smoked bacon on the nose, predominantly red berries, delicate floral and herbaceous notes, some cherries, cloves and mineral traces. Ripe, fairly juicy, partly preserved fruit on the palate, prominent cloves, light toasted notes, peppery traces, light bite, integrated fine sandy tannins, good persistence, salty mineral traces in the background, more prominent cloves and slightly jammy fruit on a good to very good finish.
