2000 Würzburg Stein Silvaner Spätlese, Franconia/Franken, Germany

Spicy oak, and aromas of apples. Clean, elegantly creamy and straightforward fruit, fairly strong spicy oak, quite rich, very elegant acidity, delicate residual sweetness, mineral notes on the palate, smoky notes in the background, good balance, cool finish with spicy notes.
