The family winery is located in the municipality Büdesheim (area Bingen ) in the German growing area Rheinhessen, The former agricultural mixed farm began in the 1970s with self-marketing of wines. In 2007, the new winery was acquired, with which the "Best of Wine Tourism Award 2012" in the category "architecture, parks and gardens" was won. The operation in the town center is led by Erik and Carolin Riffel. The vineyards cover 16 hectares of vineyards in the individual layers Bubenstück, Kirchberg and Scharlachberg (6 ha) on Binger Rochusberg. They are with the white wine varieties Riesling with 60%, Sylvaner, Pinot Blanc ( Pinot Blanc ), Pinot Gris ( Pinot Gris ) ChardonnayGewurztraminer.
