2015 Bingen Bubenstück Pinot Noir trocken Reserve, Rheinhessen, Germany

Dried vegetal notes and a hint of tobacco on the nose, light earthy notes, hint of bacon, ripe red and a few black berries, nutty notes, whiff of ashes. Fairly tart frit on the palate, smoky oak, touch of ashes, fairly prominent tannins, still slightly sandy, light bite, quite full-bodied, good substance, slightly noticeable warm alcohol, hint of bacon, light spicy notes, dried herbs in the background, slightly rustic style, good to very good finish.
