2016 Bingen Silvaner trocken Quarzit, Rheinhessen, Germany

Fairly firm nose, light herbaceous and delicate peppery notes, pomaceous fruit and a hint of citrus, whiff of green tobacco, yeasty traces, fairly prominent mineral notes. Clear, juicy, polished fruit on the palate, lively, slightly lemony acidity, light tannic grip, herbaceous and delicate peppery notes, floral traces, good persistence, some salty mineral notes in the background, still young, delicately creamy, but also has some bite, good to very good elegant, juicy, spicy finish.
