2018 Bingen Silvaner trocken "Quarzit", Ortswein, Rheinhessen, Germany

Fairly cool nose, delicate yeasty notes, light nutty and dried herbaceous aromas, partly preserved yellow fruit, hint of tobacco and a touch of mixed berries. Youthful, straightforward fruit on the palate, prominent yeasty notes, touch of sugar candy, elegant, lively acidity, hint of coriander and some mature apple notes, light tannic grip, good persistence, earthy traces, hint of tobacco, salty traces, still young, good finish.
