2016 Kallstadt Saumagen Riesling Grosses Gewächs trocken, Pfalz, Germany

Firm and deep, cool, bright, finely planty and still a touch yeasty fragrance with peach and citrus aromas with floral and hints of petrol and clear, very bright minerality. Firmly woven, juicy, a touch sweetish fruit, lively acidity, planty to herbal nuances and again a lot of chalky, also somewhat salty minerality, some grip on the palate, almost still a touch drying, dense, deep and persistent, again a trace of petrol in the background, hints of rock candy, a lot of power and certain warmth, light tobacco hints, very good, firm, almost compact finish with bright juice and enormous, gripping minerality.
