2016 Wiltingen Braunfels Frühburgunder Précoce, Mosel, Germany

Light nutty oak on the nose, red and a few black berries, hint of juniper, herbaceous traces, hint of tobacco. Straightforward, fairly light-bodied, elegant, juicy fruit on the palate, light smoky, nutty oak, some watermelon and licorice, fairly well integrated fine sandy tannins, fairly persistent, cedary traces, quite lively and quaffable, good to very good finish.
