The estate is located in the municipality of Nordheim (Maindreieck area) in the German wine-growing region Franconia
, The Müller family has been growing wine since the end of the 19th century. The current estate was built by the current owner Dorothea Rudloff-Müller. Since 1990, son Peter Rudloff has been responsible for the vinification. The vineyards cover 4.5 hectares in the individual vineyards Kreuzberg and little bird
(Nordheim), as well Katzenkopf
(Sommerach). They are planted 70% with the white varieties Riesling, Müller-Thurgau, Silvaner, Pinot Blanc, Bacchus and Gewürztraminer, and 30% with the red varieties Pinot Noir, Domina, Cabernet Dorio, Cabernet Dorsa and Zweigelt. Viticulture close to nature is practiced. The wines are bridled and slowly fermented. The simpler wines are made in stainless steel, the best in barriques. They are marketed in the four lines Gute Grape (liter goods with a screw cap), young shoots (youthful, lively), classic berries (Franconian line) and noble vine (top quality). Fine brandies and liqueurs are also produced.
