2001 Bürgstadt Centgrafenberg Rieslaner Trockenbeerenauslese, Franconia/Franken, Germany

Slightly vegetal nose, slightly reminiscent of pulses, with restrained yellow fruit aromas. Very sweet fruit with attractive acidity, on the palate, too, prominent lentil and pea aromas, followed by honey, peach, citrus fruits and apricots, good presence and breeding, medium length. Difficult to judge at this stage.
