2013 Klingenberg Schloßberg Spätburgunder Grosses Gewächs trocken, Franconia/Franken, Germany

Firm, cool and bitter scent of black and red berries with tobacco wood notes, earthy mineral notes and noticeable soup herbs. Firmly worked in the mouth, rather dark fruit with vanilla and herbaceous aromas, crumbly tannins, very slightly drying, enamel and warmth on the palate, persistent, tobacco and roasted nuances, some chocolate and candy, ripe juice, certain depth, very good, a little compote finish.
