2016 Bürgstadt Hundsrück Spätburgunder Grosses Gewächs trocken, Franconia/Franken, Germany

Clear, polished, elegant, fairly cool deep nose, predominantly red berries, delicate herbaceous, nutty and floral aromas, mineral notes, amarena cherries and mushrooms in the background. Clear, firm, juicy, concentrated, very ripe fruit on the palate, light nutty notes, hint of chocolate, some pine wood, integrated tannins, light bite, hint of bacon and msuhrooms in the background, ethereal notes, light herbaceous notes and peppery traces, prominent salty mineral notes, slightly noticeable warm alcohol, very good juicy, spicy finish.
