2016 Frühburgunder trocken "R", Franconia/Franken, Germany

hint of smoked bacon and some dried herbaceous notes on the nose, red and a few black berries, prominent mineral notes, floral traces. Ripe, tart, juicy, fairly firm fruit on the palate, light dried vegetal and herbaceous notes, oak and peppery spice, still young, excellent substance and depth, quite persistent, fine tannic grip, salty mineral notes in the background, quite complex, slightly noticeable warm alcohol, more prominent mineral notes on a very good long, complex, smoky, spicy finish.
