2017 Weißburgunder trocken "R", Franconia/Franken, Germany

Firm, tart, fairly cool nose, elegant nutty, vegetal and herbaceous notes, still slightlyyeasty, light yellow fruit aromas, hint of mushrooms, light oak, prominent mineral notes. Clear, very firmly structured, tart, light fruit on the palate, light smoky, nutty oak, lively acidity, noticeable tannic grip, chalky and salty mineral notes, firm acid bite, persistent, good depth, still undeveloped, grip and bite on a very good, firm finish. Needs time to mature.
