The estate is located in the municipality of Traismauer in the Lower Austrian wine-growing region Traisental, Rudolf Hofmann worked for eight years in the "Vinothek St. Stephan" in the immediate vicinity of Vienna's St. Stephen's Cathedral. In these years of tasting and selling, his desire to produce wine gradually grew. In 1997 it started with a disused, two-hectare winery, which has grown considerably through the purchase and leasing of further vineyards. The Weinakademiker and diploma sommelier passes on his extensive practical knowledge in the training of young and diploma sommeliers at seminars throughout Austria. The vineyards now cover nine hectares of vineyards in the Fuchsenwand, Kogel and Tiegel vineyards. They are planted with the white varieties Grüner Veltliner, Riesling, Gelber Muskateller, Traminer and Sauvignon Blanc. There is one Management based on the principle of resource conservation. This is also reflected in Rudolf Hofmann's founding of the "Sustainable Winegrowing Traisental" working group, which deals with the topic of environmental resources on a scientific basis. After gentle pressing, the musts are fermented moderately chilled in stainless steel and then developed in the three lines "classic wines", "site wines" and "reserve", typical of the origin, variety and vintage.
