2017 Spätburgunder "Kaiserstuhl", Baden, Germany

Clear, fine, relatively cool aroma of predominantly red berries with a hint of rhubarb, floral traces and hints of nuts. Polished, pure-toned, fine-juicy, ripe fruit, clearly strawberries and raspberries, very fine acidity and ripe, crumbly tannin, persistent on the palate, nutty to woody hints, has power but remains rather cool, very good finish with fine juice and spice.
