Light earthy notes and some oak on the nose, hint of tobacco, predominantly black berries with a few red berries and cherries, touch of black olives, hint of bacon. Ripe, fairly dark, juicy fruit on the palate, prominent toasted oak, fine sandy tannins, hint of cocoa and coffee, herbs and salty notes in the background, hint of eucalyptus, dark and juicy with a touch of bitter oak on a good finish.
