The estate is located in the commune of Beilstein (Württembergisch Unterland area) in the German wine-growing region Wuerttemberg

"Sankt Anna und Ruhl", which is located on the slope of the Fohlenberg directly above the location of today's winery. A chronicle in 1830 called this sun well as "the best Beilsteiner location with particularly advanced timing of the grapes for an excellent wine"
. There is an icon of Saint Anna (Mother of Mary) on the new winery. The family business is run by Renate and Hans Wiedenmann, son Marcel is responsible for the cellar. As a recognized training company, the winery has been involved in training young winegrowers since 1989. The vineyards cover ten hectares of vineyards in the individual vineyard Wartberg (Beilstein).
The classic domestic grape varieties are cultivated. These are the white varieties Riesling and Kerner, as well as the red varieties Trollinger, Lemberger, Schwarzriesling, Velvet Red and Pinot Noir. Grauer Burgundy and Gewürztraminer, as well as the new varieties Cabernet Cubin and Cabernet Dorio, have been specialties of the house since the 1950s. From 2009, one was gradually added Management introduced. Marcel Wiedenmann produces wines according to his own philosophy under the "Generation MW" label.
