2009 Beilstein Wartberg Grauburgunder Spätlese trocken Schilfsandstein, Württemberg, Germany

Onion skin colours. Cool, somewhat muted apple scent with citrus nuances, some nuttiness and delicate vegetal tones. Polished, completely dry fruit, delicately smoky to bacony wood nuances in the background, fine, lively acidity, has bite and polish, some tannin, certain persistence on the palate, seems young, good to very good finish.
