2016 Schlossböckelheim Felsenberg Riesling Grosses Gewächs trocken, Nahe, Germany

Cool, firm, yeasty nose, citruds and a hint of peaches, fresh green vegetal aromas, light floral notes, hint of bacon and mushrooms, tart mineral notes and soup greens in the background. Clear, juicy, fairly sweet fruit on the palate, sugar candy, mushrooms, some burnt yeasty notes, hint of red and black berries in the background, noticeable, fairly grippy ripe tannins, floral traces, hint of raisins and honey, becomes more firm and shows more depth with aeration, vary good, fairly sweet finish.
