2017 Monzingen Frühlingsplätzchen Riesling Grosses Gewächs trocken, Nahe, Germany

Firm, cool, clearly reductive nose, yeasty, still has a touch of sulphur, prominent floral and light herbaceous aromas, light yellow fruit, hint of dark berries, fairly prominent mineral notes. ripe, firm juicy fruit on the palate, still rather reductive, good grip, firm acidity, integrated ripe tannins, hint of tobacco, more yeasty traces, prominent mineral notes, excellent substance and depth, still rather restless, very slightly sweetish and creamy, clear contours on a very good firm, juicy finish. Needs lots of time to mature.
