2017 Schlossböckelheim Felsenberg Riesling Grosses Gewächs trocken, Nahe, Germany

Firm, deep, reductive nose, light smoky traces, still has a hint of sulphur, herbaceous notes, citrus and peach fruit, apricot, intense mineral notes. Firm, juicy fruit on the palate, yeasty notes, herbs, more prominent mineral notes, lively, elegant acidity, ripe tannins provide firm grip, concentrated and persistent, excellent depth, still largely undeveloped, vibrant tension, more prominent mineral notes on a long, tart, juicy, gripping finish. Needs lots of time to mature.
