2017 Reicholzheim First Schwarzriesling VDP.Erste Lage trocken R, Baden, Germany

Slightly dried vegetal and moderately woody nose with red and a little black berries with cherry aromas and earthy tones. Quite juicy, firm fruit with roasted and slightly chocolatey wooden aromas, noticeable acid bite, fairly present, slightly astringent tannins, lots of strength, earthy, dried vegetal and hinted cedar notes, good persistence, mineral notes in the background, has a bite, good to very good good, only slightly drying finish.

Best to drink: Mitte 2020 bis 2025+. What our ratings mean
