2008 Kamptal DAC Ried Renner Grüner Veltliner trocken Reserve, Lower Austria/Niederösterreich, Austria

Firm, deep nose, quite spicy with herbaceous notes, some pepper and mineral notes, crystal-clear pomaceous fruit and a hint of citrus. Very firm again on the palate, juicy and brilliant, lively herbs and spices, crisp fruit and prominent mineral notes, very elegant, lively acidity, peppery traces, deep and concentrated, very powerful but not at all clumsy, almost playful, still quite youthful, tremendously refreshing, deep, complex, very long finish.
