2013 Zweigelt Reserve trocken, Lower Austria/Niederösterreich, Austria

Light peppery spice and dried herbaceous notes on the nose, black and red berries and some cherries, dried floral traces, hint of tobacco, light nutty and toasted notes, hint of root vegetables. Ripe, juicy, partly preserved and polished fruit on the palate, light smoky, toasted oak, some sugar candy, hint of licorice, floral and herbaceous notes, fine sandy tannins, light acid bite, medium body, spicy notes, persistent, light meaty notes, salty mineral traces, touch of soup greens, still young, firm structure, bite, grip and some bloody notes on a very good finish.
