Wine Review Report :

Wein-Plus rating: Excellent (92 WP)
Last reviewed: 9 January 2019
Editor note: Firm, deep, as yet undeveloped nose, some yellow spice and herbaceous notes, citrussy yellow fruit, nutty notes, hint of tobacco and peppery notes, prominent earthy and mineral notes. Firm and very gripping on the palate, still slightly muted, tart, ripe, concentrated, slightly creamy, juicy fruit, elegant acidity, integrated sandy tannins, some yellow spice and bay leaf in the background, light yeasty notes and a hint of bacon, hint of black berries, still largely undeveloped and slightly rough, vegetal and spicy aromas, more prominent mineral notes on a very good, long, firm, tart, juicy, gripping finish. Needs time to develop.
Best to drink: 2020-2028+
