2016 Neuweier Heiligenstein Pinot Noir trocken VDP.Erste Lage, Baden, Germany

Light earthy and dried vegetal notes on the nose, black and a few red berries, whiff of cherries, walnuts, peppery traces, floral traces. Hint of smoked bacon on the palate, earthy and dried vegetal notes, hint of tobacco, light acid bite, light sandy tannins, mineral traces, slightly bitter and sharp nutty notes, shows fairly prominent pimento with aeration, salty notes, slightly sweetish on a still slightly astringent finish.
